As an ERP consultant who supports Sage 100 ERP clients, we get questions that we often share in our blogs when they are relevant to others. Today we got a question about the new feature for setting up total quantity pricing in Sage 100 ERP 2014.
So what is total quantity pricing good for anyway? Sage 100 ERP's total quantity pricing helps to motivate your customers to buy your goods and services by offering flexible pricing. Now you can beat the competition with the ability to establish pricing by total quantity, by item category and for the total purchased by product line. You have the ability to empower your sales people to upsell and encourage larger purchases across multiple product lines, or by combining specific items, colors and sizes. Total Quantity pricing is available in Sage 100 ERP version 2014. So now let's look at how to set it up.
Question: We own Sage 100 ERP 2014 and understand there is a new feature.
HOW DO WE SET UP TOTAL QUANTITY PRICING? Can you explain how we can set up this feature?
Answer: First things first, always consult with your Sage 100 ERP consultant before taking advantage of new features like total quantity pricing in Sage 100 ERP version 2014.
Item pricing by total quantity (AKA Volume pricing) can be set up with the following steps.
1) Go to Sales Order Entry, Setup Options Tab Line Entry is at the bottom left of page.
2) Once that is set up can choose to apply item pricing automatically in this check box below.
