1) GTIN- 14 Digit Labels
For all produce that is grown, packed, repacked or processed, PTI compliance requires that the product is displays a GTIN label with 14 digits. If you receive products with a GTIN barcode you can scan the label and SAP Business One will automatically read and store all the information within that barcode, such a Product Type, Batch/Lot#, Sell-by Date, Supplier Code, Country of Origin, and essentially all information that can be recorded in a GS1 barcode.
2) Pallet Labels/License Plates/SSCC Labels
Tracking your inventory within the facility can be done using a combination of license plates and case level labels. Pallet license plates allow you to track the lot and the inventory for each pallet in the warehouse. Labels include the human readable product and lot information along with a GS1 barcode for scanning.
