The paper companies will sadly confirm that the “paperless office”’ movement is an upward trend in 2015. Here at Oasis, our ERP software consultants confirm that going paperless is a growing initiative for many businesses and Oasis customers. As a Sage 100 ERP customer, you’ll be happy to learn that jumping on the paperless bandwagon is possible with InstaDocs. Our Sage 100 ERP clients have enjoyed the convenience and cost savings introduced with Paperless Office in MAS 90/200 version 4.3. We are excited that now Sage 100 ERP customers can take paperless one step further with InstaDocs.
InstaDocs is a document management solution embedded within Sage 100 ERP, allowing documents to be stored, viewed, and accessed directly from within Sage 100 ERP. Users simply drag and drop documents onto the InstaDocs panel, which is accessible in Maintenance, Inquiry, and Data entry programs. InstaDocs automatically associates the document with the appropriate vendor, customer, or invoice number.
Documents can also be manually tagged with unlimited keywords for searching and filtering to easily find the desired documents. The Master Search Tool allows users to search documents by File Name, Keyword or Document Source. Unlike some other document management systems, InstaDocs accommodates multiple file types, such as PDF, Word, Excel, and even emails!
InstaDocs is designed to interface directly with Microsoft’s OneDrive for cloud storage or documents can reside locally on your server. InstaDocs is currently available for the following Sage 100 ERP modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management, Purchase Order, and Sales Order.
