Sage 100 ERP: How to Merge New Company Accounts Receivable Files

Written by Adrian Montgomery | Thu, Oct 04, 2012

Question:  Mike, we own Sage 100 ERP (formally Sage MAS90) and we are setting up a new company. We would like to copy the Sage 100 ERP Accounts Receivable files from another company into the new company and merge them with existing Sage 100 ERP Accounts Receivable files in the new company. How can we do this?

Answer: There is a Utility that has been around for decades called SVTRNA that enables you to copy not only Accounts Receivable but also Accounts Payable and Inventory complete master files from on company to another:

Step one:

File>run>SVTRNA and then click the OK button

Step two:

You should be in the company that you want to copy to and select the company to copy from as well as Accounts Receivable for customers.

Step three:

Once you have selected the Companies and Module, select Proceed.

The next screen will allow you to select a single customer, a range of customers, or the entire customer list. Also at this point you will be able to select the various masterfiles such as Customers, Contacts, Salesperson ect. After selection click the Copy button.
