Many Sage 100 users are unaware of their access to Sage CRM. As of Sage’s release of Sage 100 version 4.5 all customers get the Sage CRM software and one free user license. This is a great opportunity to step in and begin improving business processes in the sales, marketing, and customer service departments.
Sage CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is extremely user friendly, visually pleasing, and has nearly unlimited customization options allowing it to fit nearly any business process. It provides powerful tools for tracking Leads, Opportunities, Cases/Support tickets, Marketing Campaigns, and much more. It is also a great platform for providing visibility across all departments by utilizing shared document storage and communications tracking. It also provides a great reporting tool allowing you to report on nearly any field you have entered in CRM.
Another great ability of Sage CRM is its integration with Sage 100. This allows for seamless customer synchronization between the Sage 100 AP module and Sage CRM, and Quotes and sales orders can be created directly out of Sage CRM. This also allows for Salespeople to create Orders on the fly if the Sage CRM mobile solution is implemented.
Sage has also teamed up with Swiftpage to offer a great E-marketing tool in Sage CRM. The integration of E-marketing allows for greater campaign analysis that really helps dial in marketing efforts. Some of the great features of E-marketing and CRM include dynamic groups for mass email distribution, key metric analysis such as email clicks and opens, drip marketing campaigns for automated marketing, and an easy to use template editor to create attractive and effective content.
The future of Sage CRM is promising. At Sage Summit this year Sage announced that they are moving Sage CRM into their core products category. This means that Sage will be providing the proper funding and resources to continue to make Sage CRM the best CRM software on the market for small to medium sized businesses. A new release of the software is planned for the first quarter of 2013 and will include more Social media integration, implementation enhancements, better mobile connectivity, and a better platform for customer suggestions.
Since many Sage 100 Users have access to Sage CRM already. Now is the time to take the plunge into improving customer service processes, cross departmental visibility, and to create more effective marketing campaigns.
