What CRM is best, ACT! or SugarCRM for a small firm with some MAC Users?

Question:  David, what is the best CRM for a small firm with some MAC users?  I have read some of the threads on CRM tools.  Our firm has 7 people who need access to a CRM for client management.  We tried Salesforce but it was just too broad and somewhat unwieldy for our needs.  From talking with others and reading posts, I am considering ACT!, SugarCRM or Zoho for ease of use and access from anywhere.  Also, some nice social media integration abilities are intriguing.  I have heard that ACT! reports are great and that ACT! is no longer supporting MAC users.  I would appreciate any feedback on basic CRMs that allow for MAC users.

Answer:  We recommend SugarCRM.  SugarCRM is cloud based so it will work in an browser including browsers on a MAC, IPAD, or mobile phone.  In addition to having options to host it in the cloud or on an in-house server, it's also very customizable, has a report writer built-in, easy to use, and cost effective ($30/month/user).  There is a SugarCRM QuickBooks integration available, a SugarCRM Sage 100 ERP integration, and an SugarCRM Intacct integration available. SugarCRM also integrates with many external applications like marketing, email, accounting, credit card processing, etc., so you can add functionality to SugarCRM as you go.
