Take Your Sage CRM Mobile and Manage your Business Wherever

Let’s face it, in this day and age, we can’t seem to get away from all our technology. We have free WiFi at coffee shops, we set up mobile hot spots on our phones, and we can get our email almost anywhere. I’m suggesting we embrace it. Not that we should work every second of the day; on the contrary, there is always time to turn the phone off, shut the laptop, and enjoy the simplicity of life without technology. However, for those times when we are out and about and need to get work done, a Sage CRM mobile connection can streamline business and make everyone’s life easier.

Sage CRM has had a mobile solution with the iPhone that was available in version 7.0. Now you can connect to your Sage CRM on the iPad and iPhone as well as both android tablets and phones and this functionality comes built in to version 7.1.This means that anyone in the office can access Sage CRM on their smartphone or tablet regardless of your love or hate for Apple. This also means that you don’t need to install additional components to your Sage CRM to get this great feature. Don’t let me forget, you can also access Sage CRM from your Blackberry if you don’t happen to fancy an apple or Google device.

The mobile solution utilizes the browser of your phone, so there is no need to download an app and you can use it just like you do on your computer. The screens are customizable just like they are on your computer, and provide the same functionality. This means you can enter and edit customer/company information, view important information using dashboards, pull up a report to review before a meeting, assign a case while you are traveling, and anything else you can think to do while out of the office. So yes, you can manage your company while on the golf course. Feel free, tee it up and assign that opportunity you just won!

This functionality will also be available for the cloud based version of Sage CRM early in 2013. Some other great features coming in 2013 are enhanced integration options for Sage CRM and Sage 100 which will allow you to view inventory information on your mobile device. So you can get real-time information on what you have and can enter those sales on the spot. The options really are nearly unlimited. Also Sage CRM will have better integration with social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Yammer that you’ll be able to manage from your phone or tablet.

Sage CRM is a great piece of software, and with this added functionality it can help your business become even more efficient, and your life easier.
