The release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 came on December 1st with a number of significant additions and improvements contained in the software. In its release guide, Microsoft highlighted more involvement with cloud services through the optimization of its Azure platform, as well as the enhancement of integration between Dynamics GP and Office 365 functions. The increased level of functionality in many different realms of operation is a point of emphasis for Microsoft in this release, as approximately 120 new features are included in the release. Microsoft has stated that it will be publishing new Dynamics GP releases with additional features on a six-month cadence from here forward.
Employee utilization has also been improved with more access to self-service features and workflows that are easy to configure throughout the system. These advantages will make it easier for businesses to begin realizing their return on investment from implementing Dynamics GP 2015 or upgrading to the newest version.

In addition, there are a variety of new workflow types available in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015, allowing for more agility from the software. General ledger batch approval, payables batch approval, receivables batch approval and vendor approval workflows are in place in the current release. Additionally, expense approval, direct deposit approval, employee skills and training approval, employee profile approval and W4 approval are also present. Flexibility in terms of accessing all of these processes is highlighted in the new system, with the ability to access them through the window as well as via email and from a navigation list.
