ERP consultant blog resized 600The team at ERPVAR congratulates Greenstone Professional Services for providing the most popular guest blog article posted to date on the ERP consultant blog site.  Congratulations Ken Jacobson at Greenstone Professional Services for the very first ERPVAR STAR AWARD 2013!!  In keeping with the theme of the ERPVAR site, you actually get a puzzle globe not a star.  Runners up ERP VAR STARs will also be announced in this article.  We will provide statistics that reinforce our belief that blogging is a good and worthwhile activity.  Are you an ERP consulting firm who is still wondering why or how you can implement a blogging strategy?  Who has the time to blog anyway and why bother?  Whats the point?  Does it feel like pulling teeth to get your team members to help with providing blogging content?

ERP consultants, like Greenstone Professional Services, are a wealth of knowledge and real-life problem solving experience that takes years and years to build up.  ERPVAR is, among other things, a guest blogging site where ERP consultants and ERP ISV solution providers and developers can share their knowledge and experience through the community.

Greenstone Professional Services has been participating on ERPVAR for the last year and were early supporters of ERP VAR when it was in it's infancy.  Ken Jacobson and Jennifer Swiderski have been generous contributors with guest blogs with over 17 blogs contributed so far.  Greenstone Professional Services is a solution provider for the Sage X3 ERP solution that is aggressively building up a strong presence in the US.  Their sister company, The TM Group, are ERP consultants and resellers for Microsoft’s flagship midmarket ERP products, including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics SL and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Why should ERP consultants develop a blogging strategy for routine blog posts?  Chances are you already have many blogs waiting in line in your head.  Now it's time to get them out!   Do you have any ERP software comparisons you have researched or experienced in the past?  Have you ever migrated a customer from one ERP software to another and want to share their experience?  If you get an ERP software or business related question from a client, chances are there are others who have the same question.  Most likely, there are others who are using search engines like Google to find an answer to this exact ERP software question or business challenge.  When you blog on a particular ERP software issue or business challenge, that creates footprint in the search engines for others to find you and follow you for more information.  The more others validate your blog by liking and sharing it, the bigger your footprint gets for SEO purposes.  Let us know if you would like to start the conversation with an ERPVAR blog and SEO specialist to help with your blog strategy.
